To kickstart an interactive and engaging learning experience, we have a mandatory exercise designed to help you maximize the benefits of this course.

1 – Please ensure you have registered here: Link.

• Once done, you'll receive an email from: Consulting & Analytics Club, IIT Guwahati [e-mail] with this course link.

• Depending on how much you already know about LLMs, given the timelines, you can choose to read the 'Bonus Modules' within the coursework. They're not mandatory for you to be able to build your mandatory project by the end of this bootcamp.

2 – Star the GitHub Repositories

• Action: Visit the Pathway and LLM App GitHub repositories and give them a star 🌟.

• Why?: This shows your support and keeps you updated as the project evolves. Additionally, for any queries, you are encouraged to use GitHub issues on the repository.

3 – Join Pathway’s Discord Community and Introduce Yourself

• Action: Become a part of Pathway's Discord community – it serves as a platform where learners, builders, and mentors come together.

• First Steps:

  • Introduce yourself in the #introductions channel. While doing so please make sure you're using the right channel and sharing your current professional/academic interests. This fosters a personalized community experience and connects you with leading AI and Data researchers globally. Newcomers are encouraged to talk about their background and aspirations, particularly how they plan to explore the capabilities of real-time and LLMs.

  • Please ensure you're in the #iitguwahati-bootcamp channel. That's the channel for all queries specific to our ongoing bootcamp with IIT Guwahati.

• Best Practices: Engage actively in open-source communities like Pathway’s. Your proactive involvement not only enhances your learning but also opens avenues for networking and collaboration.
